The Best Western Plus Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa is seeking a proactive Leisure Club Assistant to deliver outstanding hospitality within our leisure, golf and spa facilities. You will focus on guest satisfaction and driving revenue through service excellence and upselling.

Join our friendly team and help manage reception, bookings, memberships and retail, while upholding high standards of safety, cleanliness and guest care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, promoting a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
• Ensure reception is efficiently run with focus on guest care and satisfaction.
• Supervise and ensure safety of guests and members per procedures.
• Maintain golf diary and input bookings promptly.
• Handle enquiries and bookings, maximise sales revenue for club profitability.
• Keep the club clean and well-presented at all times.
• Schedule golf tee times and spa treatments as requested.
• Take orders, dispense drinks and serve at tables when needed.
• Promote and sell golf and leisure shop merchandise.
• Sell and process club memberships and promote services.
• Promote facilities to meet forecasted membership targets.
• Observe activity and manage poolside coverage during shifts.

The Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa is a vibrant and dynamic family business situated on the A45 as you leave Coventry towards Birmingham. The business enterprise includes The National Motorcycle Museum & National Conference Centre and The Manor Hotel - Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lesiure Club Assistant to join our hotel; you should be able to deliver amazing hospitality and thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You should have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with members and guests. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

Key responsibilities for the Leisure Club Assistant are;

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and address guests' service needs at all times, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
• Ensure that the reception desk is efficiently run and that guest care & satisfaction is a focus throughout the shift.
• Be responsible for the supervision & safety of guests and members in accordance with Company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain and manage the golf diary ensuring all bookings are inputted directly upon receipt and updated when necessary.
• Take enquiries and bookings in an efficient manner and encourage maximum sales revenue for the overall profitability of the club.
• Be responsibility for the cleanliness of the club at all times in accordance with Golf Club procedures.
• Schedule tee times for golfers and spa treatments for clients as requested.
• Take orders, dispense drinks and serve at tables where necessary.
• Promote and sell golf and leisure shop merchandise to guests and members.
• Sell and process club memberships along with promoting the clubs services.
• Promote facilities with a focus on memberships and achieving forecasted targets.
• Observe activities throughout the facilities and maintain poolside cover as appropriate during shift.
