Job summary

Serco Leisure Operating Limited is seeking an Operations Support Officer to help run the busy leisure facility. You will support daily operations, safety compliance, events, and space preparation to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for visitors and staff.

You will assist with security, incident response and offsite duties, while supporting Duty Managers. A full UK driving licence and reliable, calm performance in busy settings are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or operational role within leisure, hospitality or similar environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and practical application.
• Strong communication and customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the facility to maintain a safe, clean and well‑maintained environment.
• Open and close buildings, monitor site security, and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Carry out compliance checks and support health and safety standards.
• Assist with event and activity setups, including moving equipment and preparing spaces.
• Transport colleagues and carry out offsite duties using company vehicles.
• Support Duty Managers and cover shifts, including weekends and nights.
