Job summary

Places Leisure Group is seeking a General Manager for an Andover leisure centre. You will lead financial, commercial and operational performance, empowering the site leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving membership and revenue targets.

You will develop people, use performance data to guide decisions, and build strong relationships with clients, community groups, and health partners to create an accessible community hub for active, thriving communities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a General Manager in a Leisure Centre.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary operational teams including managers or heads of department.
• Evidence of delivering financial, revenue or other commercial objectives with responsibility for managing a site or budget.
• Experience using performance measures to identify priorities and improve results.
• Track record of improving customer service, membership performance or retention.
• Experience managing client, partner or stakeholder relationships and delivering against service objectives.
