Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the £19m Salford leisure centre project from PCSA and through construction, with initial hybrid work from Leeds or Sutton-in-Ashfield before site-based in Salford.

You will coordinate pre-construction with design, commercial and planning teams, manage site teams and supply chain, and ensure delivery to programme, budget and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering major construction projects.
• Strong general building experience within main contracting.
• Experience delivering commercial, leisure, education or healthcare projects.
• Strong understanding of full construction lifecycle including PCSA, design development and procurement.
• Proven ability to lead site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to work from Leeds or Sutton-in-Ashfield before Salford site-based work.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for delivery of the £19m Salford leisure centre project.
• Join during PCSA and help develop the scheme pre-construction.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, design, commercial and planning teams.
• Lead the project through construction, ensuring on programme delivery and budget.
• Manage site team, subcontractors, consultants and supply chain.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee programme, procurement, quality, safety and reporting.
