Job summary

Stockport Council is recruiting a Project Manager Construction Lead to oversee a large programme of capital developments across Education, Leisure, Corporate and Commercial portfolios. You will lead delivery from inception to completion, coordinating internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely project outcomes.

The role requires a chartered PM with at least five years’ experience in UK capital/construction projects, strong partnership skills, and the ability to build relationships

Qualifications

• Chartered project manager with minimum five years’ delivery experience in capital/construction projects in the UK.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on project delivery across multiple schemes from inception to completion.
• Coordinate internal teams (Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors) and external consultants.
• Ensure timely project delivery through strong partnership and communication.
