Job summary

North Lincolnshire Council is seeking a committed lifeguard to join the team at Axholme North Leisure Centre. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, welcome them warmly, and help ensure a safe, friendly environment.

The role includes lifeguarding, setting up equipment, cleaning, and day-to-day tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for all users. A valid pool lifeguard qualification is essential, and you must be a good team player with strong customer care skills.

As part of the role you will be lifeguarding, setting up equipment, cleaning and general day to day tasks to ensure we have a safe, clean and professional environment for our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities will Include:

• Following procedures and guidelines for this role is essential.
• Making sure the centre is kept safe, clean and tidy at all times
• Maintaining cover of the swimming pool area and providing a high level of customer service to all users
• Undertaking general lifeguarding duties and ensuring the pool is never left unattended whilst in use
• Setting up sports equipment
