Job summary

Ancholme Leisure Centre, operated by North Lincolnshire Council, is seeking a committed and versatile staff member to join our team to run our local leisure facility. You will be the first point of contact for customers, greeting visitors warmly and professionally while lifeguarding and assisting with day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities include following procedures, keeping the centre safe and clean, maintaining pool coverage, and setting up equipment.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid pool lifeguard qualification.
• Physically fit to perform lifeguarding duties and maintain pool safety.
• Excellent customer care skills and team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare sports equipment as required.
• Keep the leisure centre clean and safe through daily tasks and routines.

As part of the role you will be lifeguarding, setting up equipment, cleaning and general day to day tasks to ensure we have a safe, clean and professional environment for our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities will Include:

• Following procedures and guidelines for this role is essential.
• Making sure the centre is kept safe, clean and tidy at all times
• Maintaining cover of the swimming pool area and providing a high level of customer service to all users
• Undertaking general lifeguarding duties and ensuring the pool is never left unattended whilst in use
• Setting up sports equipment
