Job summary

Doncaster Culture And Leisure Trus is hiring a Leisure Assistant at Rossington Leisure Centre. This part-time role involves supervising the pool, communicating with users and colleagues, preparing activities, and maintaining a clean, customer-focused environment.

Evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays are required. An up-to-date pool lifeguard qualification is essential and ongoing training will be provided. Opportunities exist to move into catering, coaching/teaching or fitness roles.

Leisure Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an individuals to work with our Managers at Rossington Leisure Centre to ensure continued success across all areas of leisure facility operations.

The main duties of this role are to maintain good supervision over the swimming pool, communicate effectively with all centre users and colleagues, and have an awareness of problems and preventing accidents. Preparation of activities for customers and cleaning duties are also part of the working day in always ensuring a customer focused environment.

You will be working in a fun, lively environment with likeminded people and help to inspire others to work together and deliver their very best. Work patterns will include evenings and weekends, as well as Bank Holidays. An up-to-date pool lifeguard qualification will be required, and you will need to complete ongoing training and competency assessment.
