Job summary

The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Leisure Attendant to enhance the guest experience in the Health Club. You will help guests, maintain hygiene standards, and support a safe, welcoming leisure environment in a premier luxury hotel in Manchester.

Ideal candidates will hold a Level 2 Pool Lifeguard qualification, have health club or hotel experience, and be prepared to work 39 hours across 5 shifts including weekends.

As a Leisure Attendant, your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting the overall guest experience in our Health Club through answering guest queries; being knowledgeable about Health and Safety regulations; assisting in the smooth running of our leisure facilities; ensuring our fitness areas are clean and safe; and going above and beyond to make sure guests leave with a smile!

• Availability to work 39 hours per week across 5 shifts, including weekends (weekend availability is essential)
• Experience working within a Health Club, Leisure, or similar environment (ideally within a hotel environment!)
• A Level 2 Pool Lifeguard or Pool Responder qualification is essential for this role. However, training opportunities are available for suitable candidates who have not yet obtained it.
• Level 2 Fitness qualification (beneficial)
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices, confident in maintaining a hygienic environment
