Job summary

Cloud 23 at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, seeks a dynamic Bar Host to greet guests, manage bookings, and assist with inquiries. Join a luxury Manchester venue with skyline views, a 2 Rosette restaurant, and high service standards.

This role supports the Bar Management team and delivers a seamless guest experience. Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience in hotel, bar or restaurant settings, a flexible 24-hour-per-week schedule across evenings and weekends,

Qualifications

• Experience in Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Host/Receptionist or senior waiting staff.
• Ability to greet guests warmly and guide them to seats.
• Experience using a food & beverage booking system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and guide to seats; explain menus.
• Manage F&B bookings, track reservations and send confirmations.
• Assist guests by phone, email or in person with queries or complaints; coordinate with Bar Management for seamless service.

As a Bar Host at Cloud 23

your main duties and responsibilities will be greeting guests with a warm and friendly welcome (ensuring they are taken to their seats and menus are explained); manage the booking systems to keep track of reservations and ensure confirmations are sent to all customers; assisting our customers in person, over the phone and via email with any queries or complaints and working with the Bar Management team to ensure a seamless service at all times.

We are looking for someone who has...

• Availability to work 24 hours per week across 3 shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Experience working within a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Host, Receptionist or Senior Waiting Staff
• Experience using an F&B booking system is preferred
• Overall, ready to work in the Manchester Deansgate team and provide our guests with a warm Manchester welcome!
