Job summary

Haulfryn is seeking a Leisure Assistant – Lifeguard for The Warren, a seasonal role starting in October. You’ll help keep pools and leisure facilities safe, clean and enjoyable for guests, working as part of a friendly team at a picturesque UK holiday park.

Responsibilities include health and safety adherence, leading activity sessions, equipment setup, and assisting guests with enquiries. Lifeguard duties apply indoors/outdoors as needed, with in-house training provided for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• NPLQ certificate desirable; in-house lifeguard course to be provided for right candidates.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests of all ages.
• Positive, professional attitude with great teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Previous activity leadership experience desirable.
• GB Archery Award or similar activity coaching qualification desirable.

What You’ll Do

As a Leisure Assistant – Lifeguard, you will:

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a responsible, proactive team player who is passionate about guest safety and leisure activities. You’ll have:

• A Valid NPLQ Certificate (desirable) with the opportunity of an in-house lifeguard course being provided for the right candidates


• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests of all ages


• A positive, professional attitude with great teamwork and problem-solving abilities


• A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings


• Previous activity leadership experience (Desirable)


• GB Archery Award or similar activity coaching qualification (Desirable)
