Blackpool Council is seeking a Leisure Assistant for a part-time, permanent role working 22.5 hours per week. The post involves pool discipline, continuous supervision of bathers, and keeping knowledge of facilities up to date with the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification guidelines.
You will help maintain safety, assist with memberships, complete daily paperwork, and ensure the facility is clean and well presented. DBS check, medical clearance, and Right to Work in the UK are required.

Hours - 22.5 hrs
Salary - NJC Grade C SCP 5-6 £26,427-£26,847 pro rata per annum

Leisure Assistants are responsible for pool discipline and constant vigilance of bather's activities. To keep up to date knowledge of the facilities programme and requirements of a multi-use facility. To ensure that knowledge of products, sales procedures and activities are up to date. To maintain training hours in accordance with National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) guidelines, and to maintain the NPLQ qualification.
