Job summary

Search People is recruiting a Water Hygiene/Legionella Consultant in Manchester/Leeds to undertake legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and perform water hygiene duties including sampling and temperature monitoring.

You will compile schematic drawings, prepare comprehensive reports for clients and provide recommendations to manage risk across education, healthcare and commercial sectors. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HTM 04-01 guidelines.
• Proficient in preparing reports and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580 -1 2019
• Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers
• Providing recommendations for the elimination, reduction and management of risk
• Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports

Water Hygiene/Legionella Consultant - Manchester - Leeds

Our client is a leading residential and commercial property consultancy, they implement property and facilities management services across a large and varied portfolio.

They are recruiting for a Water Hygiene/Legionella Consultant tUndertaking legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines, as well as water hygiene duties including water sampling/temperature monitoring. Compiling schematic drawings, documents and reports for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580 -1 2019
• Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers
• Providing recommendations for the elimination, reduction and management of risk
• Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports

Key Skills

• Experience of carrying out Legionella risk assessments and ideally from a Legionella Consultancy background
• Suitable experience across multiple sectors is desirable (education / healthcare / commercial etc)
• Suitable experience across multiple water system types is desirable (evaporative cooling / hot and cold water systems / spa s and hot tubs / swimming pools
• An approved Legionella Risk Assessment qualification eg. City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc
• A good working knowledge of ACoP L8, HTM 04- 01 & other relevant Guidance Documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Be fluent in both verbal and written English

This is a permanent Role

Salary: £30,000 - £45000
