Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join our expanding team. You will apply strong technical knowledge and excellent communication to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Role involves site surveys of domestic and commercial water systems, producing detailed reports, and advising on control measures. Candidates should have 2+ years’ experience and the essential Legionella qualification, plus a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• Strong understanding of ACoP L8 and HSG274.
• WMSoc or City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification – essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.
• Carry out site surveys of domestic and commercial water systems.
• Identify potential risks and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
• Produce detailed, accurate reports within agreed timeframes.
• Advise clients on control measures and compliance improvements.
• Support other team members with water hygiene and remedial works when required.
