Job summary

Primary Water Solutions is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to conduct compliant risk assessments across commercial sites in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274. You will work independently with the Water Hygiene Team, producing detailed reports and maintaining records while managing a mobile workload.

The role requires experience in Legionella risk assessments, strong knowledge of water systems, and a full UK driving licence. Company van provided and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience completing Legionella risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Experience with hot and cold water systems.
• Ability to produce professional and accurate reports.
• Water hygiene monitoring or servicing experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisation and time-management.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential properties in line with ACOP L8, HSG274 and relevant guidance.
• Survey hot and cold water systems, identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce clear, accurate and detailed risk assessment reports, updating drawings where required.
• Manage your diary and workload while maintaining professional client communication.
• Perform occasional water hygiene tasks: monitoring, sampling, flushing, inspections.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure safety and company procedures.
