Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their Water Hygiene division. Based in the South West, primarily serving Taunton and surrounding areas, you will travel to client sites to perform risk assessments, audits, and quality checks, producing professional reports.

The role requires a Legionella qualification (WMSoc/City & Guilds) and knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS8580, with strong communication and IT skills. Travel and DBS clearance are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Legionella Risk Assessment qualification required (WMSoc/City & Guilds).
• Knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS8580 preferred.
• Experience with written scheme of control audits.
• Strong client communication and report writing skills.
• Good IT skills: Word/Excel; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments of domestic and commercial water systems.
• Complete audits of management controls and monitoring regimes.
• Carry out quality checks and compliance reviews.
• Perform water hygiene tasks and sampling as required.
• Produce clear, professional reports for clients.
