Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to cover the South West. You will undertake risk assessments of water systems, audits of management and monitoring regimes, and travel as needed for daily duties.

Join a collaborative Water Hygiene team that values accuracy and customer focus. Knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS8580 is essential, along with clear reporting and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS8580.
• Understanding of complex water systems including water softeners and industrial processes.
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance checks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Competent report writing and data analysis using Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Legionella risk assessments of water systems.
• Audits of management and planned preventive monitoring regimes.
• Carry out general water hygiene tasks such as water outlet flushing, temperature checks and sampling.
