Job summary

SOCOTEC UK is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to cover the Yorkshire, Humberside and Lincolnshire areas. The role focuses on water hygiene risk assessments, audits, and related tasks within our Water Hygiene Team.

Travel is a key part of the role, and you will work as part of a team while also handling independent tasks. Experience with water systems and reporting is essential, with DBS/MOD clearance requirements in place.

Qualifications

• ACoP L8, HSG274 and BS8580 knowledge.
• Understanding written scheme of control audits.
• Strong ability to communicate with clients.
• Competent report writing skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Legionella risk assessment of water systems.
• Audits of management and planned preventative monitoring regimes.
• Carry out general water hygiene tasks such as water outlet flushing and temperature checks.
