Job summary

Leading Health and Safety Consultancy is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to cover the North region on several commercial contracts, including care homes, schools, offices and warehouses. The role requires 2-3+ years’ Legionella experience, a recognised risk assessing qualification, a full driving licence and an Enhanced DBS check.

You will join an established team with full training on internal software.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of Legionella Risk Assessor experience.
• Ideally hold a recognised risk assessing qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• DBS check (Enhanced).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out risk assessments to ACoP L8 and HSG274 standards.
• Spotting risk areas, recommend actions, and write concise site reports (written at home).
• Typical area of work will include - Hot and cold-water systems, storage tanks and hot water cylinders, pipework and outlets
• Actively engaging with both internal and external training opportunities.
• Ensure consistent site attendance representing the business at the highest level.
• Mentor less experienced risk assessor providing professional guidance

Legionella Risk Assessor - covering the North area

Up to £36000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits

Leading Health and Safety Consultancy are actively looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their Northern team and cover several commercial contracts in this region. Typical sites will include Care Homes, Schools, Offices and Warehouses.

To apply for the Legionella Risk Assessor role, the successful applicant will be required to have the following background

• 2-3+ experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor ideally coming from a previous water hygiene career
• Ideally hold a recognised qualification in risk assessing
• Full driving license
• DBS checked (Enhanced)

The successful Legionella Risk Assessor will join an existing team and will receive full training on all internal software systems and will receive technical support where needed for schematic drawings.

Typical duties for the Legionella Risk Assessor will include
