Job summary

Legionella Risk Assessor role covering the Midlands region now available at Leading Health and Safety Consultancy. You will carry out risk assessments to ACoP L8 and HSG274 standards across care homes, schools, offices, and warehouses, and report findings from home when needed.

Candidates should have 2-3+ years’ Legionella risk assessment experience, a driving license and a DBS Enhanced check; a recognised risk-assessing qualification is preferred.

• Full driving license required.
• Ideally hold a recognised qualification in risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Actively engaging with internal training opportunities and external training
• Mentor less experienced risk assessors providing professional guidance

Legionella Risk Assessor - covering the Midlands area

Leading Health and Safety Consultancy are actively looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their Midlands team and cover several commercial contracts in this region. Typical sites will include Care Homes, Schools, Offices and Warehouses.

To apply for the Legionella Risk Assessor role, the successful applicant will be required to have the following background

• 2-3+ experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor ideally coming from a previous water hygiene career
• Ideally hold a recognised qualification in risk assessing
• Full driving license
• DBS checked (Enhanced)

The successful Legionella Risk Assessor will join an existing team and will receive full training on all internal software systems and will receive technical support where needed for schematic drawings.

Typical duties for the Legionella Risk Assessor will include

• Carrying out risk assessments to ACoP L8 and HSG274 standards.
• Spotting risk areas, recommend actions, and write concise site reports (written at home).
• Typical area of work will include - Hot and cold-water systems, storage tanks and hot water cylinders, pipework and outlets
• Actively engaging with both internal and external training opportunities.
• Ensure consistent site attendance representing the business at the highest level.
• Mentor less experienced risk assessor providing professional guidance
