Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor based in or around Leeds/Yorkshire to perform site-based risk assessments on commercial systems, including cooling towers and process water.

The role requires City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Legionella Risk Assessing, strong IT and client-facing skills, and a proactive, professional approach to meeting deadlines and adhering to HSE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Legionella risk assessing within water hygiene.
• Must have City & Guilds or equivalent in Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Experience with cooling towers, process water systems and water sampling.

Responsibilities

• Create site-specific schematic drawings.
• Meet with clients to provide technical advice and answer queries.
• Adhere to HSE guidelines and deadlines.
• Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Undertake Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry
• Must have the City & Guilds or equivalent in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Ideally have experience carrying out risk assessments on cooling tower/process water systems
• Proficient IT and writing ability
• Confident and professional liaising with clients
• Good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these
