Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services (Part of Mitie) is seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor in the UK. You will deliver high-quality risk assessments across diverse client environments and use digital tools for data capture, analysis and reporting.

You will produce schematic drawings and maintain robust compliance records, offering practical recommendations to reduce risk. A full UK driving licence and strong ACOP L8 knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments within water treatment or water hygiene.
• Strong IT literacy and experience with digital reporting systems.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build strong relationships with clients through expert service.
• Support operational delivery to ensure contractual and compliance commitments.
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence.
