Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services (Part of Mitie) is seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to deliver high-quality risk assessments across client environments. You will use digital tools to capture and report data, produce schematic drawings, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen compliance.

Applicants should have ACOP L8/HSG and related guidance knowledge, a City & Guilds Legionella qualification, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments in water hygiene.
• Detail oriented with a focus on compliant, practical solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain compliance records.
• Provide practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build relationships with clients through expert service.
• Support operations to meet contractual and compliance commitments.
• Work in accordance with ACOP L8 (4th Edition) and related guidance.
