Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services (Part of Mitie) is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to deliver comprehensive risk assessments and support compliance for diverse client sites in the UK.

You will utilise digital reporting tools, produce technical drawings, and provide practical recommendations to reduce risk while maintaining high professional standards. A City & Guilds Legionella qualification and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments.
• Strong IT literacy with experience using digital reporting systems.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional, expert service.
• Support operational delivery to ensure contractual compliance.
• Conduct assessments in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01.
• Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.
