Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor in Oxfordshire to carry out risk assessments across commercial and residential sites, ensuring ACOP L8 and HSG274 compliance.

You will survey hot and cold water systems, write clear professional reports (including schematic drawings where needed), and manage your own workload while liaising with clients on-site. A full UK driving licence is essential, and the role includes fully funded training and development.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments.
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Comfortable working across a range of hot and cold water systems.
• Well organised and able to manage your own patch.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential sites, in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274
• Surveying hot and cold water systems and recommending fixes for any risks identified
• Writing up clear, professional reports, including schematic drawings where needed
• Managing your own workload and diary, liaising directly with clients on-site
• Picking up occasional water hygiene tasks such as temperature checks, sampling, and tank inspections
