Job summary

Future Select is recruiting a Legionella Remedial Plumber for the Midlands region. The role involves repairing existing systems and installing new components such as tanks, TMVs and cylinders, with on-site fault diagnosis and on-going recommendations for works.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience in Legionella and Water Hygiene plumbing, NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, and knowledge of ACOP L8/HSG 274. A company vehicle and training are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Legionella / Water Hygiene plumbing environments.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent is essential.
• G3 Unvented ticket is advantageous.
• ACOP L8 and HSG 274 knowledge
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple calls.

Responsibilities

• Inspect domestic hot and cold water systems to identify remedial works.
• Maintain/replace TMVs and cylinders as required.
• Remove deadlegs and install cold water storage tanks and pipework.
• Fit POU heaters and modify pipework as needed.
• Attend call-outs and produce regular service reports.

A well-known name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry is recruiting for a reliable Legionella Remedial Plumber in the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have robust technical experience of repairing existing systems and installing new components (including: tanks, TMVs and cylinders). It is essential that you are confident in diagnosing faults whilst on site, in order to make appropriate recommendations for prospective works. Experience / Qualifications

• Track record working as a Plumber within a Legionella / Water Hygiene industry
• It is essential to be qualified with the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
• It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
• Conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Able to prioritise own workload
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role
