About The Role

HCR Law is looking for a proactive,highly organised, service focussed individual to fulfil a crucial role in our support staff within ourPrivate Client Team.This team acts fora vast number of high net worth clients as well as acting for several private family and charitable trusts.
Basedin our Wye Valley office and reporting to the Legal Support Manager, you will provide in-depth business support to the Partners and fee earners within the team.

Responsibilities of a Legal Support Assistant include:

  1. Supporting the file opening process for the team.
  2. Being the first point of contact for clients.
  3. Being the first point of contact for any administrative and business support requirements for fee earners, anticipating the team's needs where possible.
  4. Assisting with the preparation of all financial transactions as required.
  5. Drafting and formatting of letters, documents, and forms.
  6. Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners.

About You

As a Legal Support Assistant you will have:

  1. Experience within a legal environment or professional services environment would be advantageous.
  2. Administration experience would be desirable.
  3. Experience in case management systems would be desirable.
  4. Comfortable in a client-facing environment.
  5. Sound knowledge of IT skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, Zoom, etc.
  6. Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  7. Strong communication and organisation skills.
