Have you got 2+ years of experience working on Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning?

Are you able to work in the Maidenhead area?

We are proud to support a well-established and growing law firm with branches in London and the Home Counties. They are seeking a Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning Assistant to support their team.

The salary ranges from £26,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and exposure to this division. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, contributory pension, flexible leave, perk box, cycle to work, wellbeing initiatives, and professional development opportunities.

The main purpose of this role is to assist team members in ensuring the smooth progression of work and providing excellent customer service.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Managing dictation and inputting documents and correspondence for lawyers
  2. Scanning incoming post and documentation
  3. Attending to clients via phone and in person, taking messages and passing them to relevant colleagues
  4. Managing client files' filing, storage, and retrieval
  5. Drafting documents as requested by lawyers
  6. Opening and closing files
  7. Supporting lawyers and assistants, covering sickness and holidays
  8. Scheduling appointments and updating lawyers' diaries
  9. Managing post and administration for the Inheritance Protection Team
  10. Ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of private documents
  11. Performing other administrative duties as required within the team

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
