THE ROLE:
• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join a busy Private Client team, focusing primarily on probate and estate matters.
• This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to play a key role in supporting our solicitors and clients through often sensitive and complex legal processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Providing administrative and secretarial support to probate solicitors
• Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and forms relating to probate and estate administration
• Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and handling client communications
• Filing probate applications and liaising with relevant authorities
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with firm procedures
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a probate or private client team
• Strong understanding of probate procedures and terminology
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient in MS Office and legal case management systems
• Discreet, compassionate, and able to handle confidential matters with sensitivity
