Job summary

An ambitious global asset management platform is seeking a junior counsel to join their dynamic team in London. This role is perfect for a qualified solicitor with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience, especially those coming from a top-tier financial services background. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Legal, providing essential support in the establishment and management of investment funds. Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing fund documentation, overseeing third-party contracts, and offering regulatory advice on UCITs and AIFMD. Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE.
• Experience with UK Fund Structures including UCITs and AIFMD.

Our Client, a rapidly growing global asset management platform, is looking to add an ambitious junior counsel to their team here in London. This role would be a strong option for a 1-3 PQE Associate coming out of a ranked private practice Funds Team or Tier 1 Financial Services business.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Legal on the establishment, management, and administration of investment funds
• Draft and review fund documentation
• 3rd Party oversight and contract negotiation
• Regulatory advice around UCITs, AIFMD, etc

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum 1 year PQE
• Good knowledge and experience of UCITs, AIFMD and other common UK Fund Structures
• Right to work in the UK - this role will not be sponsored
• Strong communications and a willingness to learn
