Leading global law firm are looking to hire a Private Investment Funds Lawyer. This role can be based in London, Edinburgh, or Glasgow, with hybrid-working arrangements available. The ideal candidate would be a qualified lawyer with over 6 years’ experience in funds transactions and related work.
The Funds team advises fund managers on investment funds, including structuring, formation, and investment work, focusing on sectors like energy, infrastructure, climate & sustainability, impact, real estate, debt, and private equity funds.
The team also has a strong investor practice, advising institutional investors on investment programs, primary commitments, secondary transactions, co-investments, and related areas. They are recognized for work on African fund formation and impact investments, with awards and shortlistings for their innovative work.
The team collaborates with tax specialists for fund structuring and has full support from regulatory lawyers for financial regulation advice, including financial promotion and AIFMD.
The candidate should have experience advising on the establishment and investment in private funds, including:
