We’re working with a leading global investment bank seeking a part-time Legal Counsel to join its Equities Legal team. This is a job share role (3 days/week), supporting Structured Notes, QIS, Prime Services, and Research.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Draft and review issuance documentation (Final Terms, Pricing Supplements)
• Advise on regulatory and disclosure matters for structured products
• Provide legal input on research content (MiFID II, MAR compliance)
• Apply key financial regulations (MiFID II, EMIR, PRIIPs, MAR, Consumer Duty)
• Collaborate with structuring, research, and distribution teams
• Coordinate with your job-share counterpart to ensure seamless coverage
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent), 5+ years’ PQE
• Experience in structured products, derivatives, or capital markets
• Strong understanding of financial regulation (MiFID II, EMIR, etc.)
• Background in a financial institution or top-tier law firm preferred
