Danos have been mandated on an interim Senior Legal Counsel opportunity to join a global market maker and liquidity provider, operating in the crypto space. The role will serve as maternity cover for 6-9 months and report into the US Managing Director - Legal.

The role can be based in either London or NY.

Responsibilities

US Regulatory knowledge and SEC experience is essential, particularly around Regulation D.
Strong knowledge surrounding private placements would be advantageous.
Leading on high-stakes, multi jurisdictional transactions
Providing strategic legal advice on complex transaction structures under US Securities laws
Advising the wider business on relevant SEC updates, reforms and upcoming regulations.
Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts.

Qualifications

J.D. qualification would be preferred, albeit not essential.
7+ PQE
Candidates coming from a fintech/payments background is preferred.
