Coopman Search and Selection is pleased to partner with a growing alternative investment manager managing circa £10 billion AUM. This is a newly created role reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor the firm's compliance activities
• Advise the business on FCA regulatory requirements
• Manage and update the firm’s compliance policies and procedures
• Maintain employee certifications according to the FCA’s Senior Management Certification Regime
• Support on legal agreements such as third-party marketing, research agreements, IMAs, and management company contracts
• Contribute compliance input to various projects
• Build strong compliance relationships within the business

Experience Required:

• At least 5 years of compliance and legal experience in asset management
• Legal qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Experience with AIFMD regulations
