Coopman Search and Selection is partnering with a growing alternative investment manager with approximately £10 billion AUM. This is a newly created role reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the compliance programme and support broader legal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor the firm’s compliance activities
• Advise the business on FCA regulatory requirements
• Manage and update compliance policies and procedures
• Ensure employee certifications comply with the FCA’s Senior Management Certification Regime
• Assist with agreements such as third-party marketing, research agreements, IMAs, and management company contracts
• Contribute compliance input to various projects
• Develop strong compliance relationships within the business

Experience Required:

• At least 5 years of compliance and legal experience in asset management
• Legal qualifications are preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with AIFMD regulations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
