Legal Cashier | Central London | Hybrid role | Salary £37-45,000 | Plus excellent benefits

A central London law firm is looking for a legal cashier to join their accounts department. The position will be supporting the accounts manager and completing the day-to-day tasks of the department.

The Role

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Processing client transactions
• Incoming payments
• Outgoing payments
• Bills delivered / posting the bills and checking that the bills have been sent out to the clients.
• Credit notes
• Credit card payments for money on account and payment of bills delivered.
• Lodging disbursements / counsel fees invoices

About You

• Minimum two years previous experience in a law firm
• Knowledge and experience of Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Strong IT skills – including advanced use of Excel
• Experience using an internal accounting or practice management system – ideally, Partner for Windows (P4W)
