Job Title: Part Time Legal Cashier

Location: Hammersmith, London

Type: Part Time with Hybrid Working

Well-established, commercial West London law firm requires extra support for their finance team. The role will be a broad legal cashier role and it is essential that you have a minimum of two years’ experience in legal finance as either a legal cashier or accounts assistant, along with a good understanding of SRA procedures and HMRC regulations. The firm is completely negotiable on salary and flexible regarding whether the role will be 3 or 4 days. They also offer hybrid working.

The role will include:

1. General accounting matters such as checking the bank line for receipts;
2. Inputting payments;
3. Posting receipts/debits;
4. Bank reconciliation;
5. Checking completion statements;
6. Preparing statements of account.
7. Using the practice management system to generate reports on matters such as debtors, billing, new files, and work types.
