Law Firm Accounts Experience Required

Our client is seeking a legal cashier to assist their accounts team with all aspects of day-to-day cashiering and accounts functions. Expected duties include:

1. Checking incoming office/client receipts and transfers.
2. Regularly checking the online banking system throughout the day for updated activity.
3. Maintaining all client account transactions in accordance with the SRA.
4. Dealing with queries relating to client accounts.
5. Performing bank reconciliations.
6. Updating billing and purchase ledger.

Minimum Requirements:

It is absolutely essential to have a grounding in legal accounts to be considered, with at least 12 months’ experience working in a law firm accounts team. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of SRA accounts rules. This is an ideal opportunity for someone working in legal accounts in a law firm outside of London who is looking for a new opportunity in the city. Hybrid working (2 days working from home after induction) is available.
