Job Title: Legal Cashier
Location: Brighton
Salary: 28,000 - 30,000 per annum
Role Overview:
A prestigious law firm are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their well-established finance team in Brighton. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in legal accounting who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring smooth financial operations in compliance with legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage client accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations
Handle daily banking transactions, including processing electronic payments (CHAPS, BACs, FPS)
Oversee payments, receipts, transfers, and manual cheques or cash banking
Post expenses such as legal fees and travel costs
Process Land Registry and Infotrack invoices
Undertake general filing and administrative tasks as required

Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in legal accounts or as a legal cashier
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A solid understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules
Experience with 'Indigo' software is advantageous but not essential
Ability to start immediately, with the office based in Brighton
