LEGAL CASHIER, 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE, TYNE & WEAR/ HYBRID, £28,000 - £30,000 DOE.

Responsibilities:
  1. The appointed candidate will work closely with partners to manage client and office accounts, oversee incoming and outgoing payments, process conveyancing transactions, and verify completion statements.
  2. Responsibilities will also include managing nominal account payments, performing monthly bank reconciliations, and supporting year-end procedures.
Qualifications:
  1. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in legal account management or a similar role. While not essential, experience with legal aid billing and receipts would be advantageous.
  2. A strong understanding of the requirements set out in the Solicitors Accounts Rules is essential, along with knowledge of how client ledger and nominal accounts operate.
  3. Experience with Xero accounting software and the LEAP case management system is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
