Working Pattern: Full-time - office-based

Overview
TSR Legal is proud to be working with an award-winning high street law firm in the heart of Clifton Village, Bristol, as they expand their Residential Property team. This thriving and respected firm is now seeking a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary to support their busy conveyancing department, providing vital support to fee earners handling a range of residential property transactions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced conveyancing assistant or secretary who thrives in a professional yet friendly environment and is looking to develop their career within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Providing administrative support to fee earners in the Residential Conveyancing department

Opening and closing files, preparing initial documentation and client care packs

Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors

Drafting standard documents, contracts, and forms under supervision

Assisting with AML checks, Land Registry applications, and SDLT submissions

Managing diary appointments, emails and telephone queries efficiently

Handling post-completion tasks including registration and file archiving

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience working in a residential conveyancing environment (assistant or secretarial)

Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and client care skills

Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks in a busy legal setting

Proficient in MS Office and ideally familiar with conveyancing case management systems

A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
