Legacy Giving Officer (Hybrid)

Job summary

King’s College London is seeking a Legacy Officer to manage legacy enquiries with sensitivity, converting interest into confirmed pledges, and supporting stewardship, communications and events.

Working across Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement and the wider university, you will help build relationships and develop compelling content to inspire legacy support, ensuring excellent supporter care and efficient programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising in a Charity or Higher Education setting.
• Knowledge of legacy and in-memory giving marketplace and communications/marcom.
• Understanding of legacy supporter journey and motivations for legacy giving.
• Ability to plan and deliver projects within budget and on time.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relational databases.
• Collaborative and accountable within a team.
