Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking a Regular Giving and Legacy Giving Manager to oversee a sector-leading, multi-channel appeal programme and boost regular, mid-value and legacy donations. The postholder will manage donor journeys and campaigns across direct mail, telephone, email and social media.

This maternity cover role (up to 10 months) starts in December 2026. You will lead two Regular Giving Officer roles, collaborate with Alumni Engagement, Major Gifts and Events teams to embed regular

Qualifications

• Track record delivering direct-marketing fundraising in Higher Education or charity sectors
• Proven line management and staff development
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders
• Experience managing projects to budgets, targets and timescales
• Experience developing and evaluating compelling copy and creative
• Experience analyzing large data sets for targeting and segmentation
• Experience coordinating with external agencies (creative agencies, fundraising consultants, mail houses)
• Experience in fast-paced, innovative environments

Responsibilities

• Oversee donor journeys and cases for support, appeal development, and data segmentation.
• Pilot new ideas while delivering a mature, sector-leading programme.
• Collaborate with Alumni Engagement, Major Gifts and Events teams to embed regular giving and legacy messaging across University activities.
• Lead two Regular Giving Officer roles and build cross-team relationships to maximise fundraising impact.
