Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland in Leeds is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance across properties, often in a single visit, with a 40-hour week 12.30pm to 9pm and a company van provided.

You will work in a multi-skilled environment, delivering high standards of customer care, comply with CSCS, NVQ level 2 or equivalent, and maintain safe practices.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Building Maintenance Multi-Trade or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in key trades (Plumbing, Carpentry, Plastering, Joinery, etc).
• Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card required.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in Construction.
• Current driving licence held.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment tasks in a multi-skilled capacity.
• Complete repairs across various trades with competence.
• Attend appointments punctually and aim for first-time resolution.
• Ensure safe use and condition of tools, equipment and fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose remedial work, organise appointments and materials as needed.
• Minimise disruption to customers' homes and maintain cleanliness.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency repair rota as required.
• Ensure work complies with client specifications and requirements.
