Job summary

Saffery Champness in Leeds invites applications for the Graduate Accounts Trainee (ACA) starting September 2027. You will study towards the ACA while gaining on-the-job experience across client work and our structured development programme.

No prior experience required; AAT exempt pathways may apply. The three-year training contract provides mentorship, tuition support, and exposure to diverse clients within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 2:1 undergraduate degree (expected or obtained) in any discipline
• Minimum of 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers
• Minimum of 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English Language
• AAT qualified or studies (if substituting A Levels/Highers)

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing financial statements, management accounts and related analysis
• Work with client financial data using accounting systems and tools
• Assist with resolving day-to-day accounting queries as you gain experience
• Prepare accurate, high-quality work for review by senior team members
