Job summary

Saffery in Leeds invites school leavers and career changers to join a four-year School Leaver Programme, studying towards the ACA with Kaplan. You’ll gain practical, on‑the‑job learning while building core accounting skills in a collaborative, inclusive culture.

From day one you’ll contribute to financial statements and management reports, use accounting systems, and develop the judgement to become a trusted adviser.

Qualifications

• 120 UCAS points (top 3 A-Levels/Highers) required.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 6/B or above required.
• AAT Level 4 qualification welcomed; ACA syllabus suggested for full qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing financial statements, management accounts and related analysis.
• Work with client financial data using various accounting systems and tools.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting queries and build confidence over time.
• Prepare accurate, high-quality work for review by senior team members.
