RESPONSIBLE TO: Deputy Dean of the Business School
POST OBJECTIVES:
Deliver and manage modules across undergraduate and postgraduate sport and football degree courses. Complete administrative tasks, including quality assurance documents related to student feedback, moderation of assessments, and participation in Assessment Boards as required by GIS’s awarding bodies. Support staff teaching on UG and PG courses and assist in supporting the academic provision at overseas partnerships linked to GIS courses.
KEY TASKS:
Teach designated modules and courses as defined by the Dean of School, including contributing to online course delivery.
Maintain academic standards and adhere to course and module specifications.
Design and deliver teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to curriculum review and enhancement focused on student learning outcomes.
Undertake assessments and exams, providing constructive feedback.
Engage in professional development.
Participate in departmental seminars for knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Provide pastoral care as a personal tutor, supporting students and referring them to appropriate services.
Undertake staff development and training aligned with GIS objectives, including attending academic briefings.
