Job summary

Barking and Dagenham College is seeking a passionate Lecturer - SEND specialist to join our Further Education team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality SEND education and supporting learner wellbeing.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) and have experience teaching SEND students in Further Education, with a commitment to inclusive teaching and effective differentiation.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).
• Experience teaching SEND students within Further Education (FE).
• Experience delivering classes to students with diverse Educational needs.
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies.
• Ability to differentiate effectively for mixed-ability groups.
