Job summary

Philosophy Education is advertising this vacancy in Bromley for a Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to students with additional and complex needs, guiding them toward independence and positive outcomes.

You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, assess progress against EHCP goals, and lead a team of Learning Support Assistants and Assistant Lecturers, collaborating with therapists and families to support development.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or Certificate in Education).
• A minimum of five years' experience working with children or young people with additional and complex needs.
• Experience of planning and delivering differentiated learning.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student-centered learning.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of support staff.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist further education provider in Bromley seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer to join their dedicated team.

The Role

As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated teaching that meets the individual needs of students while promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Experience within specialist education, SEND settings or further education is highly desirable. A specialist SEND qualification, experience leading teams and knowledge of assistive technology would also be advantageous.
