Job summary

City College Plymouth is seeking lecturers to join the Pathways for Progression team. The role focuses on delivering Entry Level - Level 1 Employability to young people with SEND, many with EHCPs. The post holder will plan, deliver and assess sessions, and discuss student progress with parents to map next steps and goals.

Candidates should demonstrate adaptive teaching practices and awareness of SEMH challenges, and be able to work within a collaborative team to support pupils’ progression.

Qualifications

• Adaptive teaching practice with SEND experience.
• Understanding SEMH challenges in learners.
• Experience planning and delivering sessions to EHCP students.
• Ability to discuss progress with parents and plan next steps.
